Ingredients:

Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ¼ cup nuts (pecans or walnuts), chopped finely
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

First Layer:
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 small box (3 oz) lime gelatin
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
- Green food coloring (optional)

Second Layer:
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed

Top Layer:
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 small boxes (3 oz each) strawberry gelatin
- 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Additional Toppings:
- Additional whipped topping
- Sprinkles or candy

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, and chopped nuts. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
2. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
3. For the first layer, dissolve lime gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Let it cool slightly.
4. Beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually add the cooled gelatin mixture and mix well. Fold in whipped topping and green food coloring if desired.
5. Spread the first layer evenly over the cooled crust. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
6. For the second layer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping gently.
7. Spread the second layer over the first layer and refrigerate again until firm, approximately 30 minutes.
8. For the top layer, dissolve strawberry gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Allow to cool but not set.
9. Arrange sliced strawberries evenly over the second layer, then pour the cooled strawberry gelatin over the strawberries.
10. Refrigerate the entire dish for at least 4 hours or until the gelatin is fully set.
11. Before serving, top with additional whipped topping and decorate with sprinkles or candy as desired.
