GARLIC PARMESAN STEAK & CHEESY BOWTIE PASTA
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into strips
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese (for extra cheesiness)
12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (optional, for extra flavor)
Directions:
1. Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
2. Cook the Pasta: In a separate pot, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
3. Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing it to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses, allowing the sauce to thicken, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Combine and Toss: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss it in the creamy sauce. Add the cooked steak strips back into the skillet and stir to combine, making sure the pasta and steak are well-coated in the rich sauce.
5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and basil (if using). Serve immediately for a cheesy, flavorful, and comforting dish your followers will crave!
