Cherry Oreo Fudge
This Cherry Oreo Fudge combines the creamy sweetness of white chocolate fudge with the classic flavors of Oreo cookies and cherries, resulting in a unique and delicious treat.
Ingredients:
2 cups white chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10-12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
Equipment:
8x8 inch baking pan
Parchment paper
Instructions:
Prepare pan: Line the baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir, then continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely melted and smooth.
Stir in vanilla: Remove from the microwave and stir in the vanilla extract.
Fold in Oreos and cherries: Gently fold in the chopped Oreos and dried cherries until evenly distributed.
Pour and chill: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Cut and serve: Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into desired-sized squares and enjoy!
Tips:
You can use other types of chocolate chips, such as milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
If you don't have dried cherries, you can use fresh or frozen cherries, but be sure to pat them dry before chopping.
You can add other mix-ins to the fudge, such as chopped nuts or sprinkles.
For a more intense cherry flavor, you can add a few drops of cherry extract to the fudge mixture.
Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Enjoy your delicious Cherry Oreo Fudge.
