The Finest White Chocolate Caramel Pecan Fudge
Ingredients:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 bag white chocolate chips (12 ounces)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 3/4 cup caramel sauce, at room temperature
Directions:
1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and butter.
3. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the white chocolate and butter have melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and half of the chopped pecans.
5. Pour half of the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the fudge layer.
7. Pour the remaining fudge mixture over the caramel layer and spread smoothly.
8. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce on top and use a knife to swirl the caramel into the fudge.
9. Sprinkle the remaining chopped pecans evenly over the top.
10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until firm.
11. Once set, cut into squares and serve.
