🍫 Homemade Fudge Brownies
Rich, Gooey, and Irresistible
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
6 large cold eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
6 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13x9 inch metal pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
2. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a stand mixer, beat sugar, vanilla, espresso powder, and eggs on medium-high for 7–9 minutes, until pale and fluffy.
4. In a small saucepan, heat oil and butter until butter melts. Remove from heat, stir in dark chocolate until smooth.
5. Reduce mixer speed to low, pour in chocolate mixture, then add the flour mixture. Mix for 1 minute, then fold gently with a spatula.
6. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until set but still fudgy in the center.
7. Cool completely, lift out using foil, and cut into squares.
