Philly Steak FRIES 🍟🥩
Ingredients:
- 1 pound thinly sliced beef (such as flank steak or sirloin)
- 3 cups frozen or homemade French fries
- 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your French fries. Typically, this is around 425°F (220°C).
2. Spread the French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven according to the package instructions or until they are golden and crispy, usually around 20-25 minutes. Remember to flip them halfway through for even cooking.
3. While the fries are baking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until they start to become tender.
5. Push the onions and peppers to one side of the skillet and add the thinly sliced beef to the empty side. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
6. Add the minced garlic to the pan, mixing everything together for an additional minute until fragrant.
7. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven. In a large serving platter or on the baking sheet, layer the hot fries, then top them with the beef, onion, and pepper mixture.
8. Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese generously over the top. If you want the cheese to melt slightly, you can return the platter to the oven for another 2-3 minutes.
9. Serve immediately while everything is hot and melty. Enjoy your delicious Philly Steak Fries!
