“Made this cheesy mashed potato bake for guests and they demanded the recipe before they left!”
Ingredients:
5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain well.
In a large bowl, mash the potatoes with butter, milk, and sour cream until smooth.
Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese.
Spread into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
Serve warm and watch it disappear!
