🇮🇹 Sbrisolona (Crumble Cake)
Crunchy and rustic cake made with almonds, butter, and cornmeal—a northern Italian classic.
Ingredients:
• 150 g cornmeal
• 150 g flour
• 100 g sugar
• 100 g butter
• 1 egg yolk
• 80 g almonds, chopped
• Zest of 1 lemon
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients, then add butter and yolk.
2. Mix into coarse crumbs (do not knead).
3. Press into a buttered pan.
4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes.
5. Cool and break into chunks to serve.
