π« Fried S'mores Bombs π«
Ingredients:
12 large marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup crushed graham crackers (about 6-8 sheets)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Β½ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
Assemble the Bombs: Take one marshmallow and dip it halfway into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring itβs coated generously. Roll the coated side in crushed graham crackers to create a crust. Place on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until you achieve a smooth batter.
Fry the Bombs: Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat until it reaches 350Β°F (175Β°C). Dip each frozen marshmallow bomb into the batter, ensuring itβs fully coated. Carefully lower it into the hot oil using tongs or a slotted spoon. Fry for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
Serve Warm: Allow the bombs to cool slightly before serving. For an extra touch, drizzle with additional melted chocolate or sprinkle more crushed graham crackers on top. Enjoy while warm for the ultimate gooey experience!
