Ingredients
• 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
• ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
• ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup (120ml) plain yogurt or buttermilk
• 1 cup (150g) finely grated carrots
• ¾ cup (120g) chopped dates
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Zest of 1 orange
