Fresh vegetables tonight!
We’re not getting anything out of the garden yet but yesterday I went to Farmer Tom’s.
Tonight we had creamed Silver Queen Corn.
Red new potatoes with butter sauce and chives from my garden. Sliced Cherokee Purple tomatoes and buttermilk biscuits. If you’re unfamiliar with Cherokee Purple tomatoes, they are a heirloom variety. They aren’t pretty but they are delicious.
We had No meat. We didn’t need it and didnt miss it.
