Wendy’s Chili
Ingredients:
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 1 quart tomato juice
• 1 (29 oz) can tomato purée
• 1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans (drained)
• 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans (drained)
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1/2 cup diced celery
• 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
• 1/4 cup chili powder
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp dried oregano
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Brown ground beef in skillet, drain fat.
2️⃣ Combine beef with all other ingredients in a 6-quart pot.
3️⃣ Simmer covered for 1-1.5 hours, stirring every 15 minutes, or cook in slow cooker on low for 3-4 hours.
