CHEESY CAJUN BEEF & BROCCOLI PASTA SKILLET
Ingredients:
12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 small head of broccoli, cut into florets
5 garlic cloves, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp butter
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1. Cook rotini pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove beef and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan, mixing until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
5. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
6. Return cooked beef to the skillet, then add cooked pasta. Toss everything together to coat in the creamy sauce.
7. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
