Classic Pecan Pie Dump Cake
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 cup corn syrup
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer Pecans: Spread the chopped pecans evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.
Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Assemble Cake: Pour the mixture over the pecans. Then, sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top without stirring.
Bake: Drizzle a little more melted butter over the top if desired. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.
