π§ Dorito Casserole
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade)
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can (10 oz) Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
4β5 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos (about 1 family-size bag)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
Cook the meat:
Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain the grease, then add taco seasoning and Rotel (donβt drain it). Simmer for a couple of minutes.
Make the mix:
Stir in the soup and sour cream. Mix until creamy and combined.
Assemble the casserole:
In a 9x13-inch baking dish:
Layer 1: Crushed Doritos (enough to cover the bottom)
Layer 2: Half the meat mixture
Layer 3: Half the cheese
Repeat with more Doritos, the rest of the meat mixture, and finish with more cheese.
Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake another 5β10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
