Double Chocolate Muffins with Sour Cream 🍫🧁
Ingredients
• 1¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour
• ½ cup (45g) cocoa powder
• 1 cup (200g) sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
• ¾ cup (180g) sour cream
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup (120ml) warm milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¾ cup (130g) chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix oil, sour cream, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just blended — don’t overmix. Fold in chocolate chips.
Line your muffin tray with paper cups and fill each ¾ full. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (a few melted chocolate bits are okay).
