Cheesy Beef Stuffed Pasta Shells

Ingredients:
12 oz jumbo pasta shells
1 lb ground beef
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1 cup mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
Instructions:
Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to make a roux. Gradually add milk, stirring until smooth and thickened.
Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in 1½ cups cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted into a creamy sauce.
Combine cooked beef with half of the cheese sauce.
Fill each shell with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
Pour remaining cheese sauce over the shells and top with the rest of the cheddar cheese.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Garnish with crushed red pepper or parsley before serving.
