🍍 Pineapple Upside Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Maraschino cherries (optional).
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray.
2️⃣ Prepare Topping:
In a small bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the mixture into each muffin cup.
Place a pineapple slice in each cup (cut to fit if needed). Add a cherry in the center if desired.
3️⃣ Add Cookie Dough:
Take about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and press it on top of each pineapple slice.
4️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the cookie tops are golden brown.
5️⃣ Cool & Flip:
Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then carefully invert the muffin tin onto a tray or wire rack to release the cookies.
6️⃣ Serve:
Serve warm or at room temperature.
