Creamy Cajun Steak & Shrimp π₯©π€π₯
Ingredients:
For the steak & shrimp:
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
12β15 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus extra)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
For the creamy sauce:
1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season & Sear:
Pat steaks and shrimp dry.
Season both with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks 3β4 mins per side (or to your doneness). Set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, add butter and cook shrimp 1β2 mins per side. Remove and set aside.
2. Make the Sauce:
Lower the heat, add minced garlic, sautΓ© for 30 seconds.
Pour in cream and stir in Parmesan and Cajun seasoning.
Let simmer until thickened (3β5 mins).
3. Combine & Serve:
Return steak and shrimp to the pan, spoon sauce over.
Garnish with chopped parsley and cracked black pepper.
