1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
4 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
Fresh basil or dill, for garnish
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Prepare the Crostini:
Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
Make the Cream Cheese Spread:
In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Crostini:
Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice. Top with a slice of smoked salmon and a cucumber slice.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh dill or basil. Serve immediately as a light appetizer or party snack.
