Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease with cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
- Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
3. Make the Cheese Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, cream cheese, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and dried basil.
- Mix until all ingredients are well blended and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
4. Prepare the Biscuit Dough:
- Open the Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layer Biscuits cans and separate the biscuits.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands or a rolling pin to make them easier to work with.
5. Assemble the Cheese Bombs:
- Fill Each Biscuit:
- Place a spoonful of the cheese filling onto the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Be careful not to overfill to prevent leakage during baking.
- Fold the Dough:
- Fold the edges of the biscuit dough up and around the cheese filling, pinching the seams together to seal completely.
- Roll the filled biscuit between your palms to form a smooth, round ball.
6. Arrange in Muffin Tin:
- Place each cheese bomb into the prepared muffin tin cups.
- Press them down gently to secure their shape and ensure they bake evenly.
7. Apply Garlic Butter:
- Using a brush or spoon, generously drizzle the prepared garlic butter over the top of each cheese bomb.
- This will infuse the pastries with rich garlic flavor and help achieve a golden-brown finish.
8. Add Topping (Optional):
- For an extra burst of flavor and crunch, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt in a small bowl.
- Brush this mixture over the top of each cheese bomb for added texture and taste.
9. Bake the Cheese Bombs:
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese filling is bubbling.
10. Cool and Serve:
- Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the cheese bombs cool in the tin for about 5 minutes.
- Carefully transfer the cheese bombs to a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm with additional garlic butter on the side for dipping, if desired.
