Chocolate Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
• 2 cups (500 ml) milk
• 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup (30 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/4 cup (30 g) cornstarch
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
• Optional: chopped chocolate or chocolate chips for extra richness
Instructions:
1 In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
2 Gradually add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
3 Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and begins to boil.
4 Once it boils, continue to stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
5 Stir in the butter and vanilla extract until fully melted and smooth.
6 Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes or a large bowl.
7 Let it cool slightly, then cover with plastic wrap (press it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming).
8 Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
