Perfect Air Fryer Pork Chops
I've been making these pork chops for months now, and they turn out incredibly juicy every single time. The secret is in the spice blend – it creates this amazing crust while keeping the meat tender inside.
What You'll Need:
- 3 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick works best)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
How to Make Them:
First, mix all your dry seasonings together in a small bowl – the brown sugar, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. This blend is seriously good, so don't skip any of these ingredients.
Get your air fryer heating up to 375°F and give the basket a quick spray with cooking spray so nothing sticks.
Pat your pork chops completely dry with paper towels (this is important for getting that nice sear). Then brush both sides with oil – don't be shy here, you want good coverage. Now comes the fun part coat both sides generously with your spice mixture. Really press it in there.
Place the chops in your air fryer basket, making sure they're not touching each other. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip them over and cook another 4 minutes. The internal temperature should hit 145°F when you check with a meat thermometer.
Let them rest for a couple minutes, then serve with your favorite barbecue sauce. Trust me, these are restaurant-quality good and so much easier than firing up the grill!
