Easy to Make Paleo Zucchini & Almond Flour Pizza Base for a Delicious Meal ππΏπ
ingredients:
- 1 Β½ cups almond flour (165 grams)
- Β½ cup grated zucchini, squeezed to remove excess moisture (about 1 medium zucchini)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (2 grams)
- Β½ teaspoon garlic powder (1 gram)
- ΒΌ teaspoon salt (1 gram)
- 1 large egg (50 grams)
directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, squeezed zucchini, olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, and salt.
3. Add the egg and mix well until a dough forms.
4. Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Using your hands or the back of a spoon, press the dough into a 10-12 inch (25-30 cm) round pizza base.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden and set.
6. Remove from the oven and add your favorite pizza toppings.
7. Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the toppings are heated through and the cheese (if using) is melted.
