Spicy Cajun Lobster & Shrimp Pasta 🍤🦞
Bold, buttery, and bursting with Southern seafood flavor!
📝 Ingredients:
8 oz angel hair or spaghetti pasta
1 lobster tail, split and cleaned
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp Cajun or seafood seasoning (like the one shown!)
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
1 tbsp butter
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Chopped parsley, for garnish
Lemon wedges, to serve
🍽️ Directions:
1️⃣ Boil the Pasta:
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
2️⃣ Season the Seafood:
Toss shrimp and lobster tail with Cajun/seafood seasoning.
3️⃣ Sear Shrimp & Lobster:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sear shrimp for 2–3 mins per side until pink. Cook lobster tail flesh-side down until opaque (about 5 mins total). Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and cook for 2 mins. Stir in cream, butter, Parmesan, and lemon juice. Simmer until slightly thickened.
5️⃣ Toss & Serve:
Add pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Toss well. Top with shrimp, lobster, and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
