Sweet & Spicy Mardi Gras Mustard
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
1 tablespoon deli-style horseradish
2 teaspoons dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Instructions:
In a small mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients. Stir until everything is well blended.
Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavors come together.
Give it a taste and stir again before serving. Depending on your Cajun seasoning and horseradish, you might want to adjust the spice or salt to your liking.
Notes:
Great as a dipping sauce for fried shrimp, chicken nuggets, or Parmesan truffle fries.
Works wonderfully as a sauce for blackened grouper sandwiches.
You can also drizzle it over a salad as a sweet and spicy honey mustard-style dressing.
