🧄🧀🇫🇷 Aligot
A creamy, stretchy potato purée blended with garlic and melted cheese. Comfort food from the Aubrac region 🥔🧀✨.
Ingredients:
• 1 kg potatoes
• 400 g Tomme fraîche cheese (or Cantal)
• 2 garlic cloves
• 100 g butter
• 250 ml cream
• Salt & pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Boil potatoes until tender, then mash them with garlic.
2️⃣ Stir in butter and cream until smooth.
3️⃣ Add cheese gradually, stirring constantly over low heat.
4️⃣ Mix until the purée becomes smooth, elastic, and stretchy.
5️⃣ Serve piping hot, pulling long cheesy strands 🍴🧀.
