Keto Smash Burger with Cloud Bread
Ingredients

For the Cloud Bread Buns (makes 6–8 buns):

3 large eggs (separated)

3 tbsp cream cheese (softened) or Greek yogurt

¼ tsp cream of tartar

Pinch of salt

For the Burger Patties:

1 lb ground beef (80/20 works best)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp butter (for frying)

For the Toppings:

4 slices cheddar or provolone cheese (or any keto cheese)

4 tbsp sugar-free burger sauce (mayo + sugar-free ketchup + mustard + pickle juice + smoked paprika)

Lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, or bacon (optional)

Instructions

Make the Cloud Bread Buns

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

Whip egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.

Mix yolks with cream cheese and salt until smooth.

Fold whites into yolk mixture carefully.

Scoop rounds onto a parchment-lined tray.

Bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Cool before using.

Prepare the Smash Burgers

Divide beef into 4 equal balls (don’t overwork).

Heat a cast iron skillet on high with butter.

Place beef ball on skillet, smash flat with a spatula, season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.

Cook 2 minutes, flip, add cheese, and cook another 1–2 minutes until cheese melts.

Assemble the Burger

Place a cloud bread bun as base.

Spread keto burger sauce.

Add the cheesy smash patty.

Top with extra cheese, sauce, and optional toppings (lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, bacon).

Cap with another cloud bread bun.
