🍏 Glow-in-the-Dark Jolly Rancher Candy Apples : Glossy, Vibrant, Sour-Sweet & GLOWING with Neon Candy Magic!

🛒 Ingredients:
(Makes 6–8 candy apples)

- 6–8 small green apples (Granny Smiths work best)
- 2–3 cups Jolly Rancher hard candies (choose bright colours like green apple, blue raspberry, cherry)
- 1 tbsp light corn syrup (optional, for extra gloss and adhesion)
- Neon/UV food colouring (optional but enhances glow)
- 1 tbsp tonic water (contains quinine – UV reactive, optional for glow effect)
- Lollipop or wooden sticks
- Parchment paper or silicone baking mat
- UV blacklight for glow effect

---

👨‍🍳 Directions:

Step 1: Prep the Apples
1. Wash apples in warm water with a splash of vinegar to remove wax.
2. Dry thoroughly and insert sticks into the center of each apple.
3. Line a tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat and lightly grease.

---

Step 2: Melt the Jolly Ranchers
1. Unwrap Jolly Ranchers and sort by colour (use a single colour or swirl multiples).
2. Place them in a heavy-bottomed saucepan with 1 tbsp light corn syrup.
3. Heat on low to medium until melted and bubbling, stirring occasionally.
4. (Optional) Add UV food colouring or a splash of tonic water for blacklight glow enhancement.

---

Step 3: Dip the Apples
1. Working quickly, dip each apple into the melted candy, twirling to coat evenly.
2. Let excess drip off, then place apples onto the prepared tray to cool and harden.

---

Step 4: Glow & Show
1. Let set for 30 minutes at room temperature.
2. Place under a UV blacklight — the colours will glow neon!
3. Serve and wow your guests!
