8 ounces cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
Prepare the Brownie Base:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually mix in the melted butter.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until the mixture forms a thick batter.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the brownie batter into each cupcake liner, spreading it out evenly to form the base.
Make the Cheesecake Layer:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
Dollop about 1 tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture on top of each brownie layer, spreading gently to cover.
Bake and Cool:
Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the cheesecake layer is set and the edges of the brownie base look slightly crisp.
Allow the cups to cool completely in the pan before removing them. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour for the best texture.
Garnish and Serve:
