Once again, I was invited over to my big sister’s house for dinner and yet again I am using the kid’s plate, bowl, silverware (or cutlery. 😂 Cause theyre plastic) and cup that my sister got me. Honestly some foods are okay with touching... peas and spaghetti is a no go for me. I get so disgusted out by it for some odd reason.
This meal cost me a total of 0.00 and I really appreciate my sister for thinking of me. We do end up trading off. Sometimes her and her husband will eat at my house, without spending anything, and sometimes we go over.
As for what it cost my sister!
She got spaghetti noodles on sell for 98€
For the ground beef for the meat balls about 1.49 a pound (she got it on sell.)
Bread crumbs for keeping the meat balls together, she got it at the dollar isle for about a dollar for that (she didn’t use much.)
Farm fresh eggs to keep the balls formed she got for about 2 dollars a dozen, or cheaper. The max she’ll pay for eggs is two dollars
Two jars of spaghetti sauce would be eight for both. (both cans were 4 dollars.)
Garlic bread was in a deal we have at the store, 5 for 25. Meaning she spent five dollars on bread stick that’ll last her to the next meal as well!
Peas came form the food bank... so free.
As for the tea I have no clue. She makes it homemade and always uses different kinds of black tea.
Honestly I think she did amazing, considering we only have one grocery store in our town.
Plus she bought me my own special plates, bowls, cups and cutlery to use. I took three home and left this one. Her face lights up Everytime I use it. Plus I don’t have to worry about food touching. I’m so proud of her.
