Crispy Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard Dip 🍯
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Tenders:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Honey Mustard Dip:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Make the Dip: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Prepare the Chicken: In a shallow dish, combine the flour, panko, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In another dish, whisk together the egg and milk.
Bread the Chicken: Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, then coat it in the flour mixture.
Fry the Chicken: Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve: Drain the chicken tenders on paper towels and serve immediately with the honey mustard dip.
Tips:
You can use a deep fryer to cook the chicken tenders for a more even cook.
For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
