🇮🇹 Crostata di Ricotta e Cioccolato (Ricotta & Chocolate Tart)
A buttery tart filled with creamy ricotta and rich chocolate—pure Italian bliss!
Ingredients:
• 2 cups ricotta cheese
• ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 100 g butter (cold and cubed)
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 egg + 1 yolk (for dough)
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Make the crust: combine flour, sugar, butter, lemon zest. Rub until sandy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla. Knead into a dough, wrap, and chill for 30 mins.
3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, sugar (to taste), vanilla, and chocolate chips.
