Cheesy Bell Pepper Beef Bake
Ingredients:
500g ground beef 🥩
1 onion, chopped 🧅
1 garlic clove, minced 🧄
1 red, 1 green, and 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced 🫑
200g mushrooms, sliced 🍄
150g shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) 🧀
1 tbsp olive oil 🫒
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic.
2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes.
4. In a foil baking dish, layer the sliced bell peppers.
5. Spoon the beef mixture over the peppers.
6. Top generously with shredded cheese.
7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
