Oven Honey Hot Wings SMASH OR PASS πŸ€©πŸ—πŸ”₯
.
Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp baking powder (helps crisp the skin)
Honey Hot Sauce:

Β½ cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
ΒΌ cup honey
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
Pinch of cayenne (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions:

Prep the wings:
Pat wings dry (key for crispiness). Toss with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder until evenly coated.

Bake:
Preheat oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange wings in a single layer.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Make the sauce:
While wings bake, melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in hot sauce, honey, vinegar, and cayenne. Simmer on low for 2–3 minutes.

Coat the wings:
When wings are done, toss them in the honey hot sauce while still hot. Let them soak up all that sticky heat.

Serve:
Plate up and enjoy with ranch, blue cheese, or just as they areβ€”sweet, spicy, and finger-licking good.
