Marry Me Surf ‘N Turf Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 filet mignon or ribeye steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Shrimp:
½ lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp butter
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Juice of ½ lemon

For the Creamy “Marry Me” Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Juice of ½ lemon
Instructions:
Season both sides of the steaks with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, or until your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.
Add shrimp, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
Sauté shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp, then remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter.
Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth.
Whisk in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and Dijon mustard.
Add lemon juice and basil, then let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
Return the steaks and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over the top.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat everything through.
Garnish with extra basil or Parmesan if desired and serve hot.
Rich, romantic, and unforgettable—this Marry Me Surf ‘N Turf is the perfect dish to impress!
