"One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz egg noodles
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Noodles
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
Add the egg noodles, cover the skillet, and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 3: Combine
Stir in the butter and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes creamy.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, allowing it to heat through in the sauce.
Step 4: Serve
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Serve the chicken with the buttered noodles warm.
