Ingredients:
🥒 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
🧅 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
🌿 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
🧂 Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Dressing:
🥛 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)
🍋 1 tablespoon lemon juice (or white vinegar)
🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
🥄 1 teaspoon sugar
🧂 Salt, to taste
Instructions:
Prep the Cucumbers:
Thinly slice the cucumbers (you can peel them if preferred). Sprinkle lightly with salt and let them sit in a colander for 10–15 minutes to draw out excess moisture. Pat dry with paper towels.
Make the Dressing:
In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, and salt until smooth and creamy.
Combine:
In a large bowl, toss the cucumbers and red onion with the creamy dressing. Add chopped dill and stir until everything is evenly coated.
