Mozzarella Cheesesteak Stromboli
Ingredients:
1 lb thinly sliced steak (like ribeye or sirloin)
1 refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sautéed onions and bell peppers
1 tbsp olive oil
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a skillet, cook steak in olive oil with salt and pepper until browned. Roll out pizza dough into a rectangle. Layer cooked steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and mozzarella down the center. Fold sides over and roll into a log, pinching edges to seal. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden. Slice and serve warm.
