Homemade Caramel Frappuccino
Yields: 1 large serving
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup ice cubes
¾ cup strong brewed coffee, cooled (use leftover coffee or brew a fresh shot)
½ cup whole milk (or your preferred milk: 2%, almond, oat, etc.)
2 tablespoons caramel syrup (plus extra for drizzling)
1 tablespoon granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
¼ cup whipped cream, for topping
1 teaspoon caramel sauce, for drizzling (optional, extra for the glass)
Instructions:
1. Brew and Cool the Coffee:
Ensure your coffee is strong and fully cooled before adding it to the ice. You can use leftover coffee or brew a fresh, concentrated batch, then let it cool in the fridge.
2. Optional Caramel Swirl:
For that signature caramel swirl inside the cup, drizzle some caramel sauce along the inside of the glass or blender before adding the other ingredients.
3. Blend the Ingredients:
Add the ice cubes, cooled coffee, milk, caramel syrup, and granulated sugar to your blender.
4. Blend Until Smooth:
Blend on high until the mixture is smooth, and the ice is fully crushed, creating a thick and icy texture. You may need to stop the blender and scrape down the sides to ensure everything blends evenly.
5. Taste and Adjust:
Taste your frappuccino and adjust to your liking. Add extra caramel syrup or sugar for more sweetness, or more coffee for a bolder flavor.
6. Pour and Top:
Pour the blended frappuccino into your glass.
7. Add Whipped Cream:
Top generously with whipped cream.
8. Drizzle with Caramel Sauce:
Drizzle more caramel sauce over the whipped cream for that extra indulgent touch.
9. Serve Immediately:
Enjoy your homemade Caramel Frappuccino right away!
