Breakfast Sausage and Egg Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, mustard powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Stir in the cooked sausage, cheese, bread cubes, bell peppers, and onion.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
6. Let cool slightly before serving.
