Flavor-Packed Vegan Burger Wraps - Quick & Satisfying Meal 💪
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon (15ml) Olive Oil
1 small Onion, finely chopped
1 package (12 oz / 340g) Plant-Based Ground Meat alternative
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1/4 cup (60ml) Ketchup
2 tablespoons (30g) Mustard (Yellow or Dijon)
2 tablespoons (30g) Pickle Relish (or chopped pickles)
4 slices Vegan Cheddar Cheese
4 Large Tortilla Wraps (Burrito size)
Shredded Lettuce
Diced Tomatoes
Optional: Sliced Red Onion, Pickled Jalapeños
Directions:
1. Cook Plant-Based Ground: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened (about 5 minutes). Add the plant-based ground, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook according to package directions, usually 8-10 minutes, until browned. Drain any excess oil if necessary.
2. Season Filling: Stir in the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more. Remove from heat.
3. Add Sauces: Stir the ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish into the cooked plant-based ground mixture until well combined.
4. Assemble Wraps: Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable. Lay one tortilla flat. Place a slice of vegan cheddar cheese in the center (or tear it up). Top with a portion of the cheeseburger filling. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and any other optional toppings.
5. Fold Wraps: Fold in the sides of the tortilla snugly, then roll it up tightly from the bottom like a burrito.
6. Grill (Optional but Recommended): Heat a clean skillet or panini press over medium heat. Place the wrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. Serve: Slice in half and serve immediately.
