Steak & Cheese Hoagies with Peppers and Mushrooms🥖🥩🧀
Ingredients:
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/2 red or yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
4 hoagie rolls
4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh chives (optional)
Directions:
1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the peppers and mushrooms in 1 tbsp oil until tender. Set aside.
2. Add another tbsp of oil and sear the steak slices until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Mix steak with cooked veggies.
4. Fill hoagie rolls with the steak-veggie mix, top with cheese.
5. Broil for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts. Garnish with chopped chives.
