Shrimp Alfredo with Blackened Steak

Ingredients:

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Pat steaks dry and coat with Cajun seasoning on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Let rest, then slice thinly.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.

Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until fully coated. Add shrimp back in.

Plate the pasta and top with sliced steak. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
