Yellow Cupcake Recipe (Makes about 12 cupcakes)🧁🧁🧁🧁
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup (120ml) whole milk
Optional: a few drops of yellow food coloring (for a brighter yellow)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.
Add dry ingredients in parts, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix.
If using food coloring, stir in a few drops now.
Divide batter evenly among cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for a bit, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
