Method:

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Grease and line a rectangular baking tin (approximately 20cm x 30cm) with baking parchment.

๐Ÿง‚ Add the caster sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
๐Ÿฅš๐Ÿฅ› In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
๐Ÿฅฃ Gradually pour the egg and milk mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
๐Ÿฐ Pour the batter into the prepared tin and spread it out evenly.
โฐ Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
โณ Remove the sponge cake from the oven and leave it to cool slightly in the tin.
๐Ÿ“ Spread the jam evenly over the cooled sponge cake.
๐ŸŒ€ Starting from one of the long sides, carefully roll up the sponge cake into a tight log.
๐Ÿงบ Place the rolled-up sponge cake seam-side down in a lightly greased and lined steamer.
โ™จ๏ธ Steam for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
