Cinnamon Donut Bread
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Coating:
1/4 cup melted butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, oil, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Brush the top of the warm bread with melted butter, then sprinkle or roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
