Creamy Steak & Shrimp Fettuccine 🥩🍤
Rich, indulgent, and the ultimate surf & turf comfort dish!
📝 Ingredients:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
1/2 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter (divided)
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
🍽️ Directions:
1️⃣ Cook the Fettuccine:
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak:
Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side (for medium), then rest and slice into strips.
3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp 2 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden. Set aside.
4️⃣ Make the Creamy Sauce:
Reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds. Add cream and simmer 2 minutes. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper until thickened.
5️⃣ Assemble the Dish:
Toss fettuccine in the sauce until well coated. Plate and top with steak strips and shrimp. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
