Mississippi Mud Potatoes 🥔
Deliciously creamy and cheesy potatoes baked to perfection!
📋 Ingredients
- 6 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
📝 Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter, sour cream, salt, and pepper.
4. Add the cooked potatoes to the bowl and mix gently until well combined.
5. Transfer the potato mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese, bacon, and green onions on top.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
