Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Garlic Sauce & Tortellini
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter, divided
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
For the Garlic Sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Tortellini:
18 ounces cheese tortellini, fresh or refrigerated
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook until tender. Drain and toss with 2 tablespoons butter, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Stir until creamy and set aside.
Prepare the Steak Bites:
Season steak cubes generously with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak bites in batches without overcrowding the pan, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
Add 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic, stirring for another minute to coat the steak in garlicky goodness.
Remove steak bites and set aside.
Make the Garlic Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter.
Add beef broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Let it simmer until slightly thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Assemble the Plate:
Spoon creamy tortellini onto plates. Top with juicy garlic butter steak bites.
Drizzle the hot garlic sauce over everything.
Sprinkle fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
Serve Hot: Best enjoyed immediately for a rich, buttery, garlicky meal that’s full of flavor and creamy comfort.
